Malignant tumor has become a common and frequently occurring disease in human beings and the incidence rate increases yearly. About 3000000 cases of new malignant tumor patients are reported in our country each year. Radiotherapy is one of the three main methods for the treatment of malignant tumors, about 70% of patients with malignant tumors in the treatment process need to be involved in radiation therapy. WTO authority statistics showed that malignant tumor cure rate has exceeded 45% for five years, which accounted for 22% of the surgical operation with the contribution of radiotherapy been 18% and 5% accounted for chemotherapy In recent years, with the development of radiotherapy equipment and technology, the proportion of radiotherapy in the treatment of malignant tumor is still significantly increased, and the cure rate of patients with malignant tumor for five years is also increasing.         

The Department of Radiotherapy in Xi 'an Gaoxin hospital is made up of well-known experts, professors, senior physicists, therapists and engineers from Xi'an Jiaotong University and the Fourth Military Medical University and other major hospitals with well working experience.           

The department can boost of  PET-CT, 128 slice spiral CT, 3.0 -1.5T MRI, 16 slice spiral CT, SPECT, digital flat DSA, electronic gastroscope and colonoscope, automatic biochemical analyzer and color doppler imaging.         

The department carry out conventional radiotherapy, three-dimensional conformal RT, intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT), image guided radiotherapy (IGRT) volume and intensity radiotherapy (VMAT)
